Rick Speicher, CFP®
Founder/Senior Financial Planner
It has been my passion since high school to enter the financial field as a personal financial professional. After graduating from Conrad Weiser in 1980, I decided to attend college at Penn State University to pursue my goal of running my own financial planning practice. I graduated from Penn State in 1984 with a BS in Finance and, in 1986, earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. My goal was realized in 1990 when I began Berks Financial.
After years of helping clients achieve their financial goals, I'm proud to see Berks Financial grow and evolve as a family-run business. I've been able to expand the business beyond Berks County to a second location in Florida. Just as we have helped generations of families, I'm confident that Berks Financial will also be around for generations.

Rick Speicher is proud to have been recognized as a Founder’s Club advisor for 2024—a distinction based on annual production that places him among the top 32 percent of advisors affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network.
Each year, Commonwealth, the broker/dealer–RIA that helps us process investment transactions on your behalf, recognizes Founder’s Club advisors by inviting them to an exclusive gathering of their peers, leading industry experts, and Commonwealth home office staff.
